With over four feet of snow last week, and the largest 24-hour recorded total snowfall since the 2000-2001 ski season, Vail announced that it will expand its closing week operating plan.
Starting Monday, April 12, guests will have access to the mountain from Golden Peak, Vail Village and Lionshead. Over 3,600 acres of skiable terrain will be accessible through Sunday, April 18.
In addition, Vail Resorts is offering discounted multi-day lift tickets for closing week for just $199, good for up to 7 days of skiing.
Stay until the end and you'll be able to enjoy Vail's closing day party, which is a longstanding tradition. Each year, hundreds of revelers - many wearing costumes - gather at the top of Vail to celebrate another great season.
