BEAVER CREEK, Colorado — Fridays at the Park returns to the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa beginning today and continuing through Aug. 13. FAP is a summer program full of music, activities and entertainment for the entire family. The activities, which take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m., are located on the slopes behind the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.

FAP provides free activities including live music, fly fishing demonstrations, giveaways and more. Each week also includes a different theme, focusing on various topics such as safety, “green” practices, outdoor education, and other topics. Continuing this summer, FAP will include a special theme every other week, allowing guests to learn more about opportunities such as sustainability, safety and fire prevention and the EverGreen Ball, Eagle County's first sustainable soiree. Partners helping with programming include the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability and the Eagle County Sheriff's Office. Park Hyatt's gourmet s'moregasbord is open at the fire pit, a treat for kids of all ages. FAP also includes free rides on the Buckaroo Express Gondola, located just steps from Park Hyatt Beaver Creek.

Special opportunities at 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill, the restaurant located in the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, are also available. During FAP, 8100 is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner for $30, plus tax and tip.
