Beaver Creek's Opening Day - November 24th

Beaver Creek will open 426 acres of terrain and 11 lifts for today's 9 a.m. opening.
The lifts are:
• Centennial Express Lift (No. 6).
• Cinch Express Left (No. 8).
• Buckaroo Gondola.
• Drink of Water (No. 5).
• Bachelor Gulch Express (No. 16).
• Strawberry Park Express (No. 12) for access to Bachelor Gulch only.
• Five surface lifts.
Portions of terrain will be open in areas accessed by these lifts. There also will be a small jib park located near the base of Bear Trap trail for terrain park enthusiasts.
The Ski and Snowboard School opens today, too, with private and group lessons.
Spruce Saddle Restaurant will be open for lunch on the mountain.
Opening day lift tickets will be $79 for adults, $69 for seniors and $52 for children ages 12 and under for a Beaver Creek-only ticket.
Resort parking is available for free in the Bear and Elk parking lots on Highway 6, with shuttle service to the village. Beaver Creek Village paid parking will begin today.
